OMINVEST Uplifts its Leadership Skills and Empowers Omani Talents
Building on the company’s progressive achievements in empowering human capital, Oman International Development and Investment Company SAOG (OMINVEST), one of the leading investment firms in the region, announced that eight of its employees have been selected to partake and represent the company in the National Leadership Programme to Upskill and Empower the Potential Omanis (etimad). OMINVEST's participation in the programme reaffirms the company's commitment to upskill its Omani team members and make them future ready for competitive roles within the Group.
A team gathering was held at OMINVEST’s offices to congratulate the enrolled employees, encourage commitment and boost motivation to achieve the envisioned plan for their capacity and career development.
The meeting was attended by the Group CEO, members from the Executive Management team and etimad participants. Commenting on the occasion, AbdulAziz Al Balushi, Group CEO, OMINVEST said, “We congratulate our colleagues who have enrolled in the reputable etimad programme. Excellence has always been a core value at OMINVEST and this initiative reflects our commitment to demonstrate this value in the way we empower our employees. etimad is an initiative initially stemmed from the Labor Market and Employment Lab at what was previously the National Program for Enhancing Economic Diversification (Tanfeedh). The programme is now adopted by the Ministry of Labour and aims to train and qualify thousands of Omanis in the private sector in different batches. It includes specialised curriculums, which were designed in partnership with global and international leadership development institutions, i.e. MIT, TUCK, Harvard, and Columbia Business School. The revised programme consists of 5 main modules, e-learning, workshops, one-on-one coaching, and an action learning project, which will be executed within 10 months for the current batch.
