Strategic & Industrial Investments

The Strategic & Industrial Investments function of the Company focuses on selectively identifying and developing opportunities in a variety of sectors both within and outside Oman. The function extends to guiding and monitoring the operational performance of industrial units in which the Company holds an equity stake. On financial analysis, structuring and funding of investments, the Strategic and Industrial Investments division works in close coordination with Private Equity and Corporate Finance function of the Company.

The sectors under active participation and of core interest are steel, plastics, food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, oil and gas. Other strategic areas of focus are investments in technologies which provide strong growth opportunities.
